Highest rainfall in Bijapur district: Meteorological Department
Raipur: According to the information compiled by the state level control room set up by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, an average rainfall of 744.3 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 01, 2024 till today morning 09 August, Bijapur district has recorded the highest average rainfall of 1671.6 mm and Surguja district has recorded the lowest average rainfall of 358.8 mm.
According to the information received from the state level flood control room, from June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 672.3 mm was recorded in Surajpur district, 951.4 mm in Balrampur, 565.1 mm in Jashpur, 698.5 mm in Korea, 712.5 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Similarly, average rainfall of 654.0 mm was recorded in Raipur district, 789.6 mm in Baloda Bazar, 719.9 mm in Gariaband, 545.0 mm in Mahasamund, 703.8 mm in Dhamtari, 687.7 mm in Bilaspur, 714.7 mm in Mungeli, 616.3 mm in Raigarh, 414.3 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, 711.5 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 595.3 mm in Sakti, 931.4 mm in Korba, 682.8 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 483.4 mm in Durg. From June 1 till now, an average rainfall of 592.8 mm has been recorded in Kabirdham district, 794.4 mm in Rajnandgaon, 910.8 mm in Mohla-Manpur-Ambagadhchowki, 545.0 mm in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai, 834.6 mm in Balod, 432.7 mm in Bemetara, 829.8 mm in Bastar, 782.5 mm in Kondagaon, 1000.2 mm in Kanker, 913.1 mm in Narayanpur, 981.2 mm in Dantewada and 1063.3 mm in Sukma district.
