Himachal: Bank honored for maximum loan disbursal
Himachal Pradesh: Shalaghat branch of Jogindra Central Cooperative Bank, Solan was felicitated in Shimla today for disbursing the highest loan amount of Rs 39 lakh to 33 farmers among its 33 branches in the current financial year. The branch also received the award for best door-to-door farmer loan distribution.
They were felicitated during the State Credit Seminar-2025 organised by National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), Himachal Pradesh in Shimla today. Chief Secretary Prabodh Saxena was the chief guest on the occasion.
Advt Mukesh Sharma, Chairman of the bank said that the bank manager of Shalaghat branch helped in providing loans to maximum people through door-to-door loan distribution this year. His efforts were appreciated by NABARD and he was honoured with the award today.
