Development works worth Rs 27 crore were launched in Nellore rural.

Nellore: In-charge Mayor P. Poluboina Roop Kumar Yadav stated that Nellore rural constituency is emerging as a role model in development initiatives. He participated in the foundation stone laying ceremony for 240 development works worth ₹27 crore at Thathayya Bari in Ward No. 33 on Saturday, along with local residents.

Municipal Commissioner Y.O. Nandan and TDP leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy were also present on the occasion. Addressing the gathering, Roop Kumar Yadav said that as the first citizen of the city, it was a proud moment for him to participate in the launch of such large-scale works with public participation. TDP leader Kotamreddy Giridhar Reddy said that these projects are being undertaken at the request of the local residents and assured that all 240 works would be completed on time. He also recalled the successful completion of 339 works worth ₹42 crore in the past. He said that under the leadership of Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, development works worth ₹340 crore are currently underway in Nellore rural.

Several leaders, corporators, and party workers from TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP participated in the program.
