Hit by car, bike rider injured

Korba. A young man riding a bike was hit by a car late Saturday evening on the Sarvamangala Kanaveri road in the district. After the accident the car driver ran away with the vehicle. A crowd of people gathered at the spot. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the hospital. The matter is of Sarvamangala Chowki area. According to the information, at 7 pm on Saturday evening, a young man named Nitin Kevat from village Jatraj was going towards Kanaveri on his bike (number CG 12 BL 6764). Meanwhile, a car coming from the opposite direction hit him. The young man suffered serious leg injury in the accident. The young man fell on the road along with the car. The people present there informed the police. Police reached the spot and took the young man to the hospital. Another car (number CG 11 BL 2494) parked at the same place was hit by a trailer (number CG 12 BH 1967) coming from behind. Sarvamangala outpost police said that the search for the accused car driver is going on. Along with this, the trailer driver who hit the car in the second incident is also being searched.
