Raipur. After the firing by Naxalites on the soldiers in Gangalur area of Bijapur, Home Minister Vijay Sharma reached the hospital to know the status of treatment of the injured soldiers. Four Chhattisgarh Police personnel Arvind Ekka, Kunjam Joga, Roshan Hikmi and Suresh Kumar Mitchha and two CAPF personnel Inderjit Prasad Singh and Manikandan are undergoing treatment in the hospital. The 27 year old soldier injured in this incident has lost his leg. A soldier has been shot. Emotional family members were also present in the hospital. The mother of the girl killed in the crossfiring was also undergoing treatment there.
It was a very emotional moment for the Home Minister also. He expressed condolences to the family members of the victims. Home Minister Sharma said that this is a very emotional moment for all of us. We all feel your pain. While supporting the jawan whose wife was screaming after seeing her husband’s pain, the Home Minister said that sister, this pain is of all of us. The Home Minister told the officers present there that the soldiers who go out on patrol for the safety of their country and their people. They are being attacked in such a cowardly manner. This is panic. Such cruelty will not be spared. Wherever the Maoists have decided to attack the soldiers, there would be a possibility that innocent villagers may also get hit there.
