Honor for better performance, SP gave rewards to policemen who did excellent work
Raigarh. Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel held a crime review meeting with gazetted officers, police station and outpost in-charges of the district in the police control room on 06 January 2025. In the meeting, station-wise review of last year’s campaigns, pending crimes, complaints and Marg was done.
The Superintendent of Police said that last year the station in-charges and staff did commendable work in various campaigns. He directed that the work of police stations should be smooth from the beginning, so that there is no need to run special campaigns regarding complaints, crime or action. Instructions were given not to let the registered crime and Marg remain pending for more than 6 months. Strict instructions were given to settle the investigation of complaint letters within the time limit. Appreciated “Operation Muskaan” run in search of missing minors, directed to resolve 13 pending cases of last year soon. Station in-charges were asked to collect evidence through e-Sakshi app and do passport verification with M-Passport app. Instructions were given to organize “Police Jan Chaupal” in villages and wards and to honor the citizens doing better work along with the meeting of Kotwars every month. While reviewing road accidents, the station in-charges were asked to inspect the accidental points and coordinate with the National Highway and PWD and inform about the necessary action.
Instructions were given to regularly check the goons, update the information of absconding or dead criminals and to visit the villages regularly to ensure peaceful conduct of Panchayat and Urban Body elections.
Encouragement of policemen
At the beginning of the meeting, the Superintendent of Police honored the policemen who did excellent work in the month of December by giving them certificates. These included Sub Inspector Igeshwar Yadav, Madan Patle, Head Constable Lomash Rajput, Amit Tirkey, Awadh Bihari Vishwakarma, Constable Prashant Panda, Omprakash Tiwari, Govind Banerjee and Thanda Ram Gupta. He told the station in-charge to decide his target himself in the new year and start working to achieve it and also keep motivating his subordinates to perform good results.
The Superintendent of Police directed the officers to work dedicatedly and with discipline for crime control, collection of technical evidence and improvement in community policing, so that law and order can be strengthened in the district and confidence of the public can be maintained.
