Husband returned from work and did not get food, got angry and killed his wife

Surajpur. In village Piuri of the district, the husband killed his wife over a trivial matter. The accused husband attacked his wife while arguing with her for not cooking food and waited for her death. He also threatened and chased away the family members who came for help. Due to which the wife died in agony in the morning. Police have arrested the accused Udayraj.

According to the information, the accused Udayraj started arguing with his wife over not cooking food. Meanwhile, enraged, Udayraj hit his wife Lilavati with an iron rod and badly injured her. When his son and nephew tried to take her to the hospital, the accused intimidated them and refused. The injured woman kept suffering throughout the night and died in the morning. Police took action in the case and arrested the accused Udayraj. He has been taken into custody under section 103(1) BNS.
