Hyundai Creta third gen will be available in hybrid powertrain option

Hyundai will be launching the next generation of Creta in the upcoming years and this includes a hybrid option. The third-gen is codenamed SX3 and post launch the total engine options will be four. This includes two petrol options, one diesel option and a petrol-hybrid.

Once launched, the Hyundai Creta hybrid option will rival the likes of Grand Vitara, Hyryder and Duster hybrid.

Hyundai Creta hybrid is currently offered in three options and this includes 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. The power offered is 115hp, 160hp and 116hp respectively.

As the Hyundai Creta is offered in hybrid variant in 2027, it will be placed after Hyundai’s first hybrid SUV in India. The Creta hybrid will be taking on Kia Seltos hybrid as it launches in the country.

When it comes to facelift version, the Hyundai Creta Electric will also get a mid-cycle refresh along with full model change. The details about the upcoming electric SUV is still unknown. We assume that the electric Creta facelift will offer design improvements, more technology onboard and more comfort.
