I never went to acting school, but got things right on the sets: Preity Zinta

There was a certain understanding for me, even though I never went to an acting school or workshop, actress Preity Zinta told IANS. To be honest, I just wanted to set things right on the sets. Script wise, whichever director gave me a script that I understood and the character I believed in, I put my all into it.
The 48-year-old actress further said that my family was very strict at my home as well, so I did not do anything that would cause me any trouble at home. It was a mix of everything. When I started out, I just wanted to do the right thing and do things that I enjoy as a person.
I didn’t have the opportunity to think about how I would be seen as an actress. All I knew was that I connected with each character individually and tried to give my best to them.
The actress made her acting debut in 1998 with Mani Ratnam’s romantic thriller Dil Se… starring Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala.
