I try to follow Gandhiji’s path of non-violence and honesty: Paras Kalnawat

Mumbai (IANS). Actor Paras Kalnawat, who plays the role of Rajveer in ‘Kundali Bhagya’, has said that he is inspired by Mahatma Gandhi, and he follows it in his life.

Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated on 2 October to commemorate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.

Talking about the same, Paras said, “I take inspiration from Gandhiji, who teaches us some very important things which I value deeply. First of all, being truthful and honest are the guiding stars in our life. It can take us forward. He spent his life always in search of truth, reminding us that in the end truth prevails.”

Paras said, “He also taught us that change starts with us, and being kind is another important lesson. This means understanding how other people feel before we speak or act, and being kind not only to people, but also to animals.”

He further shared, “I personally love animals, and this education is close to my heart. As we celebrate Gandhiji’s contributions, we must remember that we can still learn much from his values.

Paras said, “Non-violence, honesty and unwavering dedication are the principles I try to follow every day. Like Gandhiji, I believe in the power of peace and love. This Gandhi Jayanti, if we all adopt even a small part of his wisdom, we can make great progress in our lives and make the world a better place.”

‘Kundali Bhagya’ has kept the audience glued to the television screens since its inception. The show stars Shraddha Arya (as Preeta), Shakti Anand (as Karan), Manit Joura (as Rishabh), Anjum Fakih (as Srishti) Paras (as Rajveer), Sana Sayyad (as Palki). and popular actors like Baseer Ali (as Shaurya).

This family drama explores and brings to life a full range of emotions as well as the deep complexities of human relationships.

Paras is a model and actor, known for playing Sanjay Singh Ahlawat in ‘Meri Durga’, Faraz Sheikh in ‘Ishq Aaj Kal’ and Samar Shah in ‘Anupama’. He completed his dance diploma from Terence Lewis Dance Academy, and received formal training in acting from Barry John’s acting classes.

Paras also participated in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10’ and secured 10th position in the show. He recently did the web-series ‘Butterflies Season 4’, in which he played the character of Neeraj.

She has also acted in the music videos ‘Jaria Tu’ and ‘Gallan Mithiyan’.
