Mumbai. It is said that one should never play with fire, air and water because it can be fatal. The same is understood by looking at a horrifying video that went viral recently. In this, a couple is seen enjoying with the family at the Bandstand in Bandra, Mumbai, but what happens after that is scary.
It is seen in the video that the couple is enjoying the sea waves sitting on a stone and their little girl is making a video of it. The child’s voice can be heard clearly in the video. The waves of the ocean are rising up and the husband and wife are holding each other. After this a strong wave comes and takes the woman away with it. The child and the father keep watching in shock. In the video, the voice of the girl child screaming ‘Mummy-Mummy’ is clearly heard. The woman has been identified as 32-year-old Jyoti Sonar. The woman’s husband Mukesh, a resident of Gautam Nagar, Rabale, Mumbai, works as a technician in a private firm. He told, “I tried my best to save her. When the fourth wave hit us from behind, I lost my balance and both of us slipped. When I caught hold of my wife’s saree, a man caught hold of my leg, but he could not be saved.

He further said, “Though I had a firm grip, she slipped from her saree and was dragged into the sea before my eyes. My children were there. They shouted for help but no one could do anything. I don’t know how they will recover from this incident.” The people standing around who saw the incident which happened at around 5.12 pm informed the police. The police reached the spot along with the officers of the fire department. Jyoti’s body was recovered late Sunday night after a search operation by the Mumbai Fire Brigade. He was taken to the hospital but was declared dead on reaching there.
