If Congress is re-elected, there will be caste census in Rajasthan

The Congress leader, Rahul Gandhi, said on Wednesday that he would conduct a caste census in Rajasthan if his party retains power in the state. At a meeting in Dholpur, Rajasthan, where elections were being held, Rahul criticized the introduction of Plan Agnipath, saying that it had destroyed the dreams of thousands of youth who wanted to defend the nation.

“The first thing that Congress will do after retaining power in Rajasthan will be to conduct a census of castes. It will also be done at the national level after Congress assumes power at the Centre”, said Gandhi.

A census of castes is necessary, that is, the Dalits of the country and the people belonging to backward classes should know their real number. “The big question is how to distribute the wealth in this country”, he said.

While addressing another demonstration in the state, Priyanka Gandhi pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi did not visit Manipur, affected by the violence, but rather went to watch a cricket match in Ahmedabad. Let us tell you that Manipur has been immersed in ethnic violence for almost seven months, but the Prime Minister was not there.

In exchange, visited Ahmedabad to watch the final of the World Cup of Cricket between India and Australia.

“In the recent World Cup, our team reached the final with its hard work… Modi ji got there, so he could also get a little credit if the team won”, he said, adding that the Prime Minister would assist. There is a place where there is pride and honor, but it is maintained in a situation of crisis. It is said that the Prime Minister and the Center condoled the losses of the big industrialists but neglected the poor. He also said that mixing religion with politics is a sin
