In Bahadurgarh, five men allegedly gang-raped a woman at a roadside eatery after chasing her in a bus.

Haryana: In horrific incident of crime has came to light were a 42-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped by five men at a roadside dhaba. This incident occurred on Monday, January 12, 2026. Accused allegedly followed the survivor’s bus and abducted her to a secluded dhaba in Bahadurgarh, where the crime, captured on CCTV, occurred.
Four of the five individuals accused of gang-raping a woman have been arrested, while one remains at large, according to The Times of India. The victim, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, had traveled to Bahadurgarh with her uncle in search of employment, Jhajjar Police Commissioner Rajshree Singh reported. The woman stated that she and her uncle, upon disembarking from a bus at Delhi’s Pandit Shree Ram Sharma Metro station around 2 am on Monday, noticed five men following them. A senior police official stated that the accused separated the woman from her relative around 2:30 am and took her to a dhaba on the Delhi–Rohtak Road, where she was allegedly gang-raped.
Following the registration of an FIR at the Bahadurgarh City police station, police launched a manhunt and apprehended the accused. The woman also reported stolen belongings. Police recovered the dhaba’s CCTV DVR, according to a TOI report. The initial investigation revealed the accused purchased liquor from a nearby shop, paying Rs 100 in cash and the remainder via UPI. Police reportedly traced the accused through this UPI transaction and analyzed CCTV footage from the dhaba’s vicinity. Call records and social media accounts further aided in identifying the accused.
