Increased employment opportunities, Indian economy is on the rise: PM Modi

New Delhi (IANS) | Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Tuesday that the Indian economy is growing steadily. Due to increase in manufacturing activities and increasing employment opportunities, the Indian economy has registered a positive growth amid ongoing tensions at the international level. In fact, PM Modi distributed appointment letters virtually to more than 70,000 youth selected for various jobs during the Rozgar Mela.

Addressing the program, PM Modi emphasized that many government schemes like Startup India, Stand Up India and Mudra Yojana have created a lot of employment opportunities. This includes the private sector as well.

In his video address, PM Modi said that in the last ten years, opportunities for jobs in government departments have also increased. With the establishment of many startups, Indian youth are not only doing self-employment, but are also providing employment to other youth.

PM Modi claimed that today the world is looking towards India’s government which is politically stable and takes decisive decisions. Let us tell you that employment fairs were organized at 43 places in the country, in which appointment letters were handed over to newly appointed youths. This includes sectors such as financial services, posts, defence, school education, higher education, revenue and health.

On the other hand, the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) says that with the beginning of the year in India, the unemployment rate is also increasing.
