INDIA Alliance To Meet On Sept 13 In Delhi To Chalk Out Campaign Strategies: Manoj Jha
The opposition’s I.N.D.I A alliance is slated to meet for the third time on September 13th, which will be the first 14-member coordination committee meeting of the opposition bloc. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the residence of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar in the national capital. It is being said that the upcoming meeting will be centered at chalking out strategies, finalising elections campaigns and future events. Talking about the agenda of the meeting at Pawar’s residence, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MP Manoj Jha spilled some beans. Talking to news agency PTI, Jha said that I.N.D.I. Alliance Coordination Committee meeting to be held on September 13th to finalise campaigns and rallies at Sharad Pawar’s residence in Delhi. RJD leader calls recent bypolls result as a changed narrative in favour of opposition Citing recent bypolls results on seven assembly seats in six states, the RJD leader targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), saying that the results of the recently concluded assembly bypolls have shown that a narrative is getting built in favour of the opposition’s alliance. Pertinently, the opposition’s alliance won four out of seven assembly seats, while the BJP managed to win three seats. As per news agency, Jha added, “The meeting on the 13th is important. Meetings of the different sub-groups, like the social media committee, campaign committee, research committee, all have held their meetings.
The deliberations held in these meetings will get a stamp of approval. A final shape will be given to the agenda, what would be the programmes, where the campaigns will be held, it will all be deliberated upon.” Apart from NCP supremo Sharad Pawar, the 14-members coordination committee of I.N.D.I. Alliance consists of TMC Chief Mamata Banerjee, Congress’s KC Venugopal, DMK’s TR Baalu, JMM leader Hemant Soren, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, AAP MP Raghav Chadha, Samajwadi Party leader Javed Ali Khan, Janata Dal (United) leader Lalan Singh, CPI leader D Raja, National Conference party’s Omar Abdullah and PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti. The committee was constituted during the opposition’s last meeting in Mumbai. The coordination committee is said to be the top decision-making body of the opposition alliance in chalking out the strategies for future campaigns.
