New Delhi. India defeated Afghanistan by 6 wickets and took a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series. India had a target of 173 runs which it achieved in the 16th over. Yashasvi Jaiswal played a brilliant inning of 68 runs for India, during his innings he faced only 34 balls and also hit 6 skyscraper sixes. Shivam Dubey, the hero of the last match, did wonders in this match too and played an inning of 63 runs in only 32 balls, during his innings he also hit 4 sixes.
The Indian innings had a very bad start in this match being played at Holkar Stadium in Indore. Indian captain Rohit Sharma was bowled on his very first ball. King Kohli, who came after this, made a great partnership with Jaiswal. Kohli was out after scoring 29 runs in 16 balls with the help of five fours.
After Kohli’s dismissal, the hero of the last match Shivam Dubey came to the crease. After this, the Afghan bowlers were in trouble. Both left-handed batsmen hit fours and sixes and gave India an easy victory. India has now got a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series. Earlier, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bowl first. Akshar Patel and Arshdeep Singh bowled brilliantly for India. Patel took two wickets and Singh took three wickets. Shivam Dubey proved to be very expensive in bowling but he compensated for it with his batting.
