Indian Army will review border challenges and its capabilities
New Delhi: The Indian Army is going to review many important issues including the security challenges of its borders with China and Pakistan and the efficiency of the force. This review will be started from Monday. A five-day conference of top commanders of the Indian Army is going to start from Monday. This conference of Army Commanders is being held under the chairmanship of Army Chief General Manoj Pandey.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will address the conference on October 18. According to the information given by the Army, the conference of Army Commanders is scheduled to be held in New Delhi till October 20. This top-level biennial event is an institutional platform to facilitate conceptual discussions on important policy decisions of the Indian Army.
In continuation of the new format introduced this year, the upcoming Army Commanders’ Conference is also being organized in a hybrid format, in which the Army Commanders and other senior officers will meet virtually on the first day, thereafter the remaining deliberations will be held in physical format. Will be held in. On this occasion, Defense Chief General Anil Chauhan, Army Chief General Manoj Pandey and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal V.R. Chaudhary will address the organized meeting. On this occasion, Dr. Ajay Kumar Sood, Principal Scientific Advisor to the Government of India, will also deliver a speech on “Leveraging Technology for National Security”.
Apart from reviewing the operational preparedness of the Indian Army, the top leadership will deliberate on the current and emerging security scenarios. They will also discuss important topics including review of the current reform process, training matters, human resource management aspects and issues affecting serving personnel and veterans. According to the Army, the Army Commanders’ Conference, with its wide scope, ensures that the Indian Army remains progressive, forward-looking, adaptive and future-ready.
