Indian Embassy in Nepal issues helpline numbers for assistance
Kathmandu: Indian Embassy in Nepal has issued helpline numbers for the assistance of those affected and missing in the floods. There has been widespread damage due to floods and landslides on account of record rainfall over the weekend.
Our thoughts are with everyone affected, the Embassy wrote in a notice issued earlier on Monday.
The Embassy has received intimation regarding Indian citizens in Nepal who are stranded because of this situation.
The Embassy is in touch with some of these groups and arranging for their safe return. Embassy is also coordinating closely with Nepali authorities to facilitate the evacuation of Indian citizens who are stranded.

Reportedly Nepal is facing a devastating crisis due to floods and landslides. Which resulted a staggering death toll of 112 people in the last 24 hours. Around 68 people are missing and over 100 people are injured due to the disaster.
