Raipur: The encounter between security forces and Naxalites is going on in the forests of Gariaband district of Chhattisgarh. Where the soldiers have killed 14 Naxalites so far. In this sequence, the bodies of two more Naxalites have been recovered during the search. Security forces have also recovered 1 AK47 automatic weapon from the spot. Frightened by the operation of the security forces, eight Naxalites have surrendered in Narayanpur. In which Dilip Dhruva, Intelligence in-charge of Kutul Area Committee, has also surrendered. This surrender has given a big blow to the Maoists of Abujhmad Division. Narayanpur ASP Robinson Gudiya confirmed that the idea of ​​’Maad Bachao Abhiyan’ is coming true.

In the encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Gariaband, about 75 soldiers of Nuapada SOG of Odisha were involved in the operation. 01 SOG Jawan has been injured in the encounter and is being treated at Narayana Hospital Devendra Nagar Raipur. The entire SOG team reached Nuapada safely after handing over the bodies of all the 14 killed Naxalites to the Chhattisgarh Police. The SOG team did not take the body of any Naxalite to Odisha.
