Infinix Note 40s 4G smartphone launched, amazing features
Mobile News: Infinix has not yet announced the launch date of the Infinix Note 40s 4G, but details of the phone have surfaced online ahead of the launch. In fact, the phone details have been leaked by PassionateGeeks, which has spotted the full specifications page of the phone on the company’s official site. According to the report, the design and specifications of the Note 40s 4G are similar to the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro, which were launched in India in March. It has a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection.
Powerful processor and strong camera
For performance, the phone has the MediaTek Helio G99 Ultimate chip which also powers the Note 40. The camera setup of the Note 40s 4G is slightly different as the Note 40s 4G phone will get a dual camera setup compared to the three camera sensors found on the Note 40 and Note 40 Pro. However, the primary 108MP sensor and 2MP macro sensor are the same. The phone also has a fancy Halo AI lighting ring, which can be customized for notifications, calls, charging status, among other things.
Heavy RAM and two years of software support
Talking about memory, the phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM (expandable up to 8GB) and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It will run on XOS 14 based on Android 14 and will be given Android updates for two years and security patches for three years.
Wireless charging with fast charging support too
The upcoming Note 40s 4G will get a 5000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast wired charging. Apart from this, like other phones in the Note 40 series, it also includes 20W wireless charging support with magCharge technology. According to the site, 10 minutes of charging will provide 5.7 hours of calling and 4.4 hours of video playback time.
JBL speaker and NFC support too
Other features of the phone include IP54 rating for dust and water protection, NFC support for contactless payments, and a dual speaker setup tuned by JBL for powerful sound.
Price and color options
Although the phone has been listed on the company’s site, Infinix has not yet revealed its launch date. Also, there is no mention of the price of the phone. The phone will be launched in Obsidian Black and Vintage Green color options.
