For this, they should use more and more organic fertilizers while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers along with crop residue management. Shiv Kumar Shastri Agricultural College and Research Center Surgi, Rajnandgaon under the joint aegis of Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council, Raipur and Farmers First Project, Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.

In this workshop organized on the occasion of 38th Foundation Day of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Raipur, Dr. Akhilesh Tripathi, scientist of Chhattisgarh Science and Technology Council, inspired the farmers and students for conservation agriculture to increase crop residue management and resource utilization efficiency.
