Innocent child dies in road accident
Unnao: An uncontrolled speeding Scorpio hit a six-year-old innocent boy on the Purva-Achalganj road. The innocent child died on the spot in the incident. Angry passers-by and family members created a ruckus and blocked the road. The police arrived after receiving the information and pacified the angry family members. After this the body was sent for post-mortem.
Adil, six-year-old son of Shakeel, resident of Topkhana town, had left home on Monday afternoon to buy some goods. During this time, near Hazrat Hakeem Shah Mazar, a speeding uncontrolled Scorpio coming from the front hit him hard. As soon as the collision occurred, Adil jumped and fell on the road and died on the spot. After the incident, the hitting vehicle managed to escape from the spot.
When the family members came to know about the incident, the family members and passers-by reached the spot and blocked the road. On receiving information about the jam, Purva police station in-charge Inspector Kunwar Bahadur Singh reached the spot with the police force. While he tried to get the jam cleared by talking to the family members who had created the jam, the family members remained firm on their demand of searching for the Scorpio vehicle and arrest of the accused driver.
After about one and a half hour, the police convinced the family members. Police have investigated and sent the body for post-mortem. Inspector said that the incident is being investigated. A case will also be registered on the complaint of the family members. The vehicle is being searched by checking CCTV.
