Innocent child killed with vegetable cutting tool, drunken father carried out this incident

Korba: In Balco police station area, a drunken father strangled a 3-year-old child playing in his lap. The children lost their lives, after which he injured himself. According to the police, Amar Singh Manjhi of Gram Panchayat Bela reached home in an inebriated condition. When 3 year old son Pawan reached his father, he climbed into his lap and started playing.

At some point suddenly the father got angry at the children for some reason and he picked up the vegetable cutting sickle and slit the throats of the children. After this perhaps the father attacked himself in the throat. This incident created hue and cry in the family. Immediately both were taken to the hospital. The doctor confirmed the death of the child. The injured father is undergoing treatment. The police is investigating the matter
