Instructions to safely send the cattle sitting on the road to the cowshed
Durg. High Court Court Commissioner Ravindra Sharma organized a meeting of the in-charges of Road Safety Cell in Circuit House Durg. In which Arvind Ekka, ADM Sumit Agarwal, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Durg, Richa Mishra, Additional Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Satanand Vidyaraj, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Lokesh Dhruv, SDM Patan, Hitesh Pisda, SDM Bhilainagar, Sonal David, SDM Durg, S.L. Lakad, RTI, Praful Gupta, Tehsildar Bhilai, Jayant Verma, Sub Engineer NH PWD Abhijeet Soni NH PWD, Bodhiram Ghirhi, Inspector Traffic Bhilai 03, Sunil Meshram, Sub Engineer PWD Durg were present.
First of all, the High Court Commissioner Bilaspur sought information about the black spots in their respective areas from all the in-charges present in the meeting. Along with providing information about the black spots, all the marked black spots (accident prone areas) of the district were inspected at Rasmada Bypass Road, Sonesar, Chikhli Chowk, Shani Mandir Nagpura, Mahamara Turning Anjora, Funda Chowk, Tara and Dhour Chowk Khedamara. Necessary guidelines were given to the concerned departments for proper lighting, rumble strips, sign boards, high mast lights, chevron sign boards in the mode, removal of illegal encroachment and trimming of bushes in the said black spots.
Entry of heavy/medium goods carrying vehicles within the district has been prohibited. Boards prohibiting entry of heavy/medium goods carrying vehicles were installed at the said places.
