International Day of Yoga celebrated
Under the joint aegis of Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India and District Administration, the district level program of 9th International Yoga Day on the theme of Yoga for Vasudev Kutumbakam was organized today at the local Indira Gandhi Stadium. A large number of women, men, youth and old people participated in the yoga programme.
District Collector Mr. Pukhraj Sen and District Bisuka Vice President Mr. Yogesh Mishra started the program by lighting the lamp. Extending best wishes on International Yoga Day, he said that for a healthy life, make yoga a part of daily routine. District head Mr. Balveer Singh Chhillar participated in the district level Yoga Day function and gave the message of healthy lifestyle by practicing yoga.
Kalpataru Yoga Institute, Patanjali Yoga Institute, Gandhi Swasthya Sadan Samiti Naturopathy Yoga Center Alwar, Bhartiya Yoga Sansthan, Prajapati Brahma Kumari, Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Sarvhitkari Seva Sansthan, RDNC Mittal Foundation, Lions Club Alwar, Matsya Scout in district level program And Guide, Fellowship Alwar 10 Rotary Club Rotary Club, Alwar Fort Sahyog Seva Sansthan, Devesh Foundation, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Arya Kanya Vidyalaya, Jai Krishna Club, Innerwheel Club, Good Earning, Small Industries Bhartiya Alwar, Lions Club City, Nirankari Satsang Sewa , Radha Swami Seva Sansthan, Matsya Rendu Universe, Cycle Pedal Group etc. contributed to make the program successful. International Yoga Day program was also done at subdivision level Panchayat Samiti and Panchayats and a large number of common people did yoga. Sister Mamta of Prajapita Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya performed the program with meditation and yoga. The stage operation in the program was done by Mr. Girish Gupta, Secretary, RDNC Mittal Foundation. At the end of the program saplings were presented to the guests.

Alwar Assistant Director Dr. Uma Dutt Sharma, Dr. Mukesh Chand Prajapat, Dr. Vikas Yadav, Dr. Omendra Meena, Dr. Suresh Vermar, Dr. Manmohan Gothwal, Dr. Harish Saini, Yoga and Naturopathy Officer Dr. Sushila Meena, Mittal Foundation’s Chief Trustee Dr. SC Mittal and Mrs. Alka Mittal, along with district level officers and employees and a large number of common people participated. Separate places were fixed for women and men to do yoga and yoga instructors also made them do yoga from the stage.
