IPS officer posted on IG post resigned, what did he say?
Purnia: Bihar’s famous IPS officer Shivdeep Lande has resigned from his post. Shivdeep Lande has given information about his resignation on his official Facebook page. Shivdeep Lande has surprised everyone by resigning suddenly. Shivdeep Lande wrote on Facebook, ‘My dear Bihar, after serving in a government post for the last 18 years, today I have resigned from this post. In all these years, I have considered Bihar above myself and my family. If I have made any mistake during my tenure as a government servant, then I apologize for that. I have resigned from the Indian Police Service today. But I will stay in Bihar and Bihar will remain my karmabhoomi in future too.’
He has not done so. There is speculation that he may contest the assembly elections in Bihar. There is speculation about Lande, who has a Singham-like image in Bihar, that he may join the Bharatiya Janata Party or Jan Suraj. But unless Lande himself comes forward and clarifies something, any discussion may prove to be wrong.
