Iran’s non-oil exports to Europe increased by 6% in 10 months
TEHRAN: Iran’s exports of non-oil commodities to the European Union from January to October 2024 have recorded a six percent increase compared to the same period last year. Although the volume of trade exchange between Iran and the European Union from January to October 2024 has decreased by one percent, Iran’s exports to the Union’s member states have seen a six percent increase, the EU’s statistical office (Eurostat) has reported.
According to the report, Iran and the EU member states exchanged products worth 3.770 billion euros between January to October 2024, registering a one percent decrease compared to the same period last year. The EU member states exported non-oil products worth more than 300 million euros to Iran between January to October 2024, showing a 2 percent decline compared to the same period last year.
Iran’s exports of non-oil products to EU member states recorded a six percent increase during this period, rising from 654 million euros in 2023 to 695 million euros in 2024. Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and France were Iran’s first to fifth trading partners between January and October 2024, the report said.
