Irregularity in Ashram construction, Rs 1.5 crore was released

The government is running several schemes for the protection and promotion of tribals so that all-round development of tribals can take place, but due to the negligence of the contractors and officers in Kawardha district, huge irregularities are being seen in the construction works. In fact, three months ago in Chilfi, the 100 seater Tribal Post Matric Kanya Ashram was constructed at a cost of one crore sixty lakh rupees, but lakhs of rupees have been diverted here in the name of construction works. This is the reason why cracks have appeared in more than thirty places in the building just a few days after its inauguration.

Not only this, rain water has started dripping from many places. In such a situation, you can imagine how good the quality of construction of the building would have been. Residential ashrams were built for tribal girls so that by staying here, the girls could progress in education. But due to the negligence of the Tribal Department and the arbitrariness of the contractor, water has started dripping from now on in many places. On the other hand, the construction engineer has shied away from asking the contractor to get the repairs done immediately.
