Is it good to take bath during fever or not?
According to experts, it completely depends on what kind of water you are taking shower with. If you have viral fever then there is no problem in taking bath. Because when fever comes, the temperature of your body increases. Body pain (if there is pain in the body then follow this remedy) persists and because of this you feel sad and bored. In such a situation, if you take a bath, you may feel better. Body temperature also reduces. Muscles also relax. However, whenever you take a bath, take bath with lukewarm water only. Bathing with cold water can be dangerous.
Experts say that some people cover themselves with blankets during fever, in such a situation the heat does not come out from the body. If you take bath in this situation, you can feel calm and cool. Experts also say that if you bathe your head (if you want to have good digestion then bathe at this time) then do not forget to dry the hair completely. Because if you keep your hair wet for a long time, the condition may worsen. On the other hand, if you are bathing during fever, then stay in water only for some time, bathing for too long can increase the problem. However, it would be better if you take bath after consulting a doctor.
If bathing is not possible then sponge bath can be taken. You can wipe your body by wetting a towel with water, this will also provide relief from fever and also relax the muscles.
