Is Vijay’s life in danger? Congress demands increased security from the DGP

Tamil Nadu: The Congress party has filed a police complaint expressing concern over Vijay’s safety in Chennai. The party claims that amid the ongoing political developments surrounding government formation in Tamil Nadu, the Tawke leader is facing pressure and his life could be in danger.

According to reports, several political parties in the state have appealed to the Governor to invite Vijay to form the government. These parties say that the election results are in their favor and a government led by Vijay could be formed. However, the Governor has clarified that any leader will only be invited to form the government if they prove their majority in the Assembly.

Meanwhile, Chennai West Congress leader and councilor Dillibabu has filed a written complaint with the Director General of Police (DGP). In the complaint, he alleges that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is attempting to pressure Vijay. He stated that this pressure is part of a political strategy and is escalating the situation.

The complaint also states that Thaveka leader Vijay and his party candidates won the election by a large margin. The Congress leader claims that the public has accepted this result and the process of government formation should now proceed. However, some political forces are attempting to create an atmosphere against Vijay.

Dillibabu also mentioned in his complaint that under the current circumstances, Vijay’s safety could be seriously threatened. He expressed apprehension that any untoward incident could occur if political tensions escalate.

He also demanded that Vijay and the Congress MLAs standing with him be provided adequate security. He stated that this step is necessary not only for political security but also for personal safety.

The police administration has received the complaint and has stated that they will begin an investigation into the matter. Currently, this entire incident is causing a stir in Tamil Nadu politics, with all parties closely monitoring the future course of action.
