Isha Yoga Center Sparks Outrage Videos Of Children Bathing Posted Online

Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore has once again been embroiled in controversy. Recently, the official social media handles of this center have created a stir by posting a video of young children (girls) bathing in public. Netizens are outraged that not only is it violating the privacy of children, but it is also depicting them in an indecent manner. This definitely comes under the category of child abuse, and netizens are questioning the Isha Center as well as Jaggi Vasudev about the intention behind recording such videos and posting them on social media platforms.
On the other hand, NGOs working for the safety and rights of children are reacting strongly to this matter. They allege that this is a violation of the provisions of the ‘POCSO’ Act and IT Act. They are demanding that the police and the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) immediately remove these videos and take strict action against those responsible, saying that it is unacceptable to risk the privacy of children in the name of spirituality. Several social activists are already tagging these video links and filing complaints with the cybercrime police.
