Jagannath Patel’s dead body dedicated for the welfare of humanity

Raipur. For the welfare of humanity, the mortal remains of Jagannath D Patel were dedicated for medical study after his death. All the four adult members of the Patel family residing in Vaishali Nagar EWS 153 had pledged to donate their bodies.

On 22nd September, after counselling by Pranam President Pawan Keshwani, Jagannath Patel, his wife Rajodevi and both daughters Prabha Patel and Sunita Patel had jointly issued a will for body donation. Jagannath Patel, retired from Bank of Baroda, died at the age of 79. His family informed Pawan Keshwani about this, after which other formalities were completed apart from arranging a vehicle for body donation.

Body donor Late. During the last journey of Jagannath Patel, his wife Rajodevi, both daughters Prabha and Sunita, besides Dinesh Mishra, Pawan Keshwani, Digambar A. Karmakar, Rajaram Jadhav, Manoj Mishra, M.L. Gopal, Radheshyam Prasad, Ashish Jain, Mitu Rajvanshi and other enlightened people participated in the holy work of body donation. In the last 16 years, 2052 people have been inspired to donate their bodies by Pranam, an organization that motivates people to donate their bodies. In which, the bodies of 218 people have been dedicated for the welfare of humanity through study and teaching work in various medical colleges of Chhattisgarh after their death.
