Jalandhar: B.Tech student commits suicide

Jalandhar: A B.Tech (Biotechnology) student of a private university located on the Phagwara-Jalandhar highway allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in his PG room. The deceased has been identified as Rohan Kamboj. His body has been sent to the local civil hospital for post-mortem.

According to the complaint lodged by Rohan’s father, Anil Kumar, a resident of Yusufkhedi village in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, the deceased was being mentally harassed by a man named Kartik Yadav, son of Sudesh Kumar Yadav, a resident of Dwarka, Delhi. Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case against Kartik Yadav for forcing Rohan to commit suicide.
