Jalandhar: Khanna demanded a day care cancer center.

Jalandhar: Former MP Avinash Rai Khanna has demanded that one of the day care cancer centers being established in Punjab under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD) be set up in Hoshiarpur. He made this demand to the NP-NCD Directorate and the Department of Health and Family Welfare. Khanna told the Director of the Department of Health and Family Welfare that if one of the day care cancer centers to be established in Punjab is located in Hoshiarpur, it would greatly benefit cancer patients from Hoshiarpur district and the surrounding areas.
