Jalandhar: Mass Media Wing spreads awareness on tobacco-free youth campaign.

Jalandhar: The Health Department’s Mass Media Wing organized an awareness program for laborers near the Government Senior Secondary School on Chandigarh Road in Nawanshahr. The session was conducted by Deputy Mass Education and Information Officer Tarsem Lal, who informed the laborers about various health schemes and the ongoing tobacco-free youth campaign.
During the session, Tarsem Lal highlighted the harmful effects of tobacco consumption and appealed to the youth and laborers to be aware of the risks associated with tobacco use to maintain good health. He also provided detailed information about several important health programs such as the National Viral Hepatitis Control Program, the Punjab State AIDS Control Program, and the Chief Minister Punjab Cancer Relief Fund.
