Jalandhar News: Murder case registered against two people
Jalandhar: Police have registered a case of murder under Section 103 of the Indian Justice Code against Nikka and Keshav, residents of Dugri, at Dugri. The deceased has been identified as Sarwan Kumar (19). Prem Paswan, father of the deceased, has lodged a complaint. He alleged that the accused came to his house and started calling Sarwan. When he told that Sarwan was sleeping, the accused asked him to wake him up. After finding Sarwan, they allegedly thrashed him and stabbed him in the neck with a sharp weapon. Sarwan was admitted to Dayanand Medical College, where he died. TNS
Man arrested with pistol
Ludhiana: Tibba Road police on Thursday arrested Akash alias Kohli, resident of Gautam Colony, Jagirpur Road, from BK Resort in Gopal Nagar. Police have recovered two country-made pistols, two live cartridges from the accused. The local court has sent him to two-day police custody and investigation in the case is underway.
