Jalandhar: Ramp walk kicks off pre-Karva Chauth celebrations

Jalandhar: The spirit of celebration and empowerment came alive at Hotel Stella, Goraya, where a Karva Chauth pre-celebration was organized by Sheela Gupta, Managing Director of Hanuman Bath Villas, Phagwara. The event, moderated by Meena Arora and Shivani Batra, was enthusiastically attended by approximately 80 women from Goraya, Phillaur, Ludhiana, and Phagwara. Councillors Rishu Goraya and Rajni Gaba, and Inner Wheel Club President Neha Duggal, were the chief guests, while Managing Director Sapna Madan was the special guest. Upon arrival, children welcomed them with lavish garlands.
The event included several entertaining activities, including Karva Chauth-themed games, quiz rounds, and a spectacular ramp walk, where winners were awarded attractive prizes and trophies. The “Karva Thali Distribution” game added traditional charm to the celebration, with winners taking home beautifully decorated plates. Top Karwa Queens – Meena Arora, Sargam Batra, Ekta, and Girsha Arora – were honored for their outstanding participation. The event concluded with Sheela Gupta presenting mementos to the dignitaries and expressing gratitude for their presence and support.
