Jalandhar: Two arrested for attempt to murder petrol pump staff

Jalandhar: Nurmahal police have arrested two criminals on charges of attempted murder. Acting SHO Amandeep Singh said the accused have been identified as Arman Gill, a resident of Khusropur village under Jalandhar Cantt police station, and Samarth, son of Tirth Kumar, a resident of Deep Nagar, Jalandhar Cantt.
Jagtar Singh, a resident of Jandiala village under Sadar Jamsher police station, complained to the police that the accused came to the Bundala petrol pump on Goraya Road on the evening of February 24th and asked to fill the petrol tank of his Swift car (PB-08-AA-009) and fled without paying. The complainant said he chased them near Kangiwal village on Jalandhar Road and tried to stop them. However, the accused, with the intention of killing them, rammed their car into his vehicle, injuring both of them.
