Janhvi Kapoor will start the second schedule of NTR Jr starrer ‘Devra’ soon

Janhvi Kapoor will soon start the second schedule of NTR Junior starrer ‘Devra’. Actress Janhvi Kapoor, famous for films like ‘Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’, ‘Roohi’ and ‘Bawal’, will start the second shooting schedule of her under-production film ‘Devra’ on October 24.

The film also stars NTR Jr alongside Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, who scored a global hit with his historical fiction film ‘RRR’. The film reunites NTR Jr with director Koratala Siva after their last collaboration ‘Janatha Garage’, which released in 2016.

According to a source, Janhvi will be busy shooting for the project in Goa from October and the shooting schedule will extend till January next year.

The source said, “Janhvi will start the second shooting schedule of ‘Devra’ with NTR Jr. on October 24. The actress filmed the first show for only 3 days. She will be busy shooting for the project in Goa from October and the shooting schedule will extend for about 3-4 months till January.

Earlier, director Koratala Siva had revealed that the film will be released in two parts to do justice to his meticulously detailed narration.

Koratala said in a video mixing Telugu and English on social media: “The film is based on the forgotten land of coastal India and the canvas is huge. As soon as we started shooting the film, the canvas unfolded itself and started getting bigger and bigger. “Each character in the film has its own weight and needs to be explored and established in depth and detail, which we cannot justify in a single part.”

Concluding his message he said: “So we decided to tell this big story and canvas in two parts. The shape of the story won’t change, but it will evolve massively. “One of the largest canvases ever created by Devra will be realized in two parts and April 5, 2024 is just the beginning.”

The film is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram.
