Janjgir Police celebrated 34th National Road Safety Month
Janjgir-Champa. 34th National Road Safety Month is being celebrated by Janjgir Traffic Police from 15 January 2024 to 15 February 2024. Under which various programs are being organized every day. Under this, a health and eye camp for drivers was organized at Police Control Room, Janjgir on 19.01.24, in which 57 persons took advantage of the health camp. Besides, after reaching Gurukul School, Janjgir, a traffic school was organized and detailed information was given to the school students regarding traffic rules. During the traffic school, school students were given information regarding traffic signals. Minor boys and girls were advised not to come to school driving their own vehicles and to tell their family elders to follow traffic rules. About 100 students including teachers were present in the said program.
The awareness chariot reached village Akaltari where the common citizens who came to the market during the weekly market were given detailed information regarding traffic rules and were told not to drive after consuming alcohol and appealed to follow the traffic rules. Pamphlets related to traffic rules were distributed. During the weekly market, about 150 people were given information regarding traffic rules. The traffic police is visiting various intersections of the district and giving information about traffic rules to about 130 common citizens and also appealing to them to follow the traffic rules. Pamphlets regarding information about traffic rules are being distributed to them. After giving information regarding traffic rules to the drivers and owners of tractors running in different police station areas, reflector tape was installed in 70 tractor trolleys and tractor drivers were also advised to drive slowly and follow the traffic rules.
