Jharkhand Maoist arrested in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram (IANS) | A top Maoist leader from Jharkhand was arrested on Tuesday in a joint operation by the Kerala and Jharkhand police. He was living in a migrant labor camp in Kozhikode. According to the Kerala Police, they received a tip-off from their counterpart in Jharkhand and tracked down Ajay Oja to a migrant labor camp in Kozhikode.

This morning a team of police officers from both the states took into custody Oja, who is believed to be a top Maoist leader in Jharkhand and has been jailed in the past.
