Ranchi. The state government has taken a major step towards establishing a ‘Jharkhand Medical City’—equipped with world-class healthcare facilities—in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. For this ambitious project, the Health Department has prepared a proposal seeking administrative approval for ₹2,84,17,24,900, which will be submitted to the Council of Ministers for clearance. The government aims to develop Ranchi into a key hub for modern medical facilities, ensuring that the state’s residents have access to superior treatment.
Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari held a detailed discussion with officials regarding the project’s progress and construction work. He directed them to expedite the construction process for the Medical City and to fast-track the commencement of work by completing all necessary formalities.
