Jharkhand: Monsoon will become active again, weather will change from Saturday
Ranchi: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a new forecast regarding the weather of Jharkhand. According to the department, monsoon is going to become active once again in the state. It is currently partly cloudy in many districts including the capital Ranchi and light rain is being recorded at some places. The Meteorological Department says that monsoon activities will intensify from Saturday and there is a possibility of rain in most parts of the state for the next two days.
According to the Meteorological Department, the sky will be partly cloudy in most of the districts of Jharkhand on Saturday. Light to moderate rain may occur in many areas. However, more changes will be seen in the weather from Sunday. The density of clouds will increase on this day and widespread rainfall is likely over most parts of the state.
According to the forecast, good rain can be recorded in many districts on Sunday and the following days. There are also chances of rain along with thunder at some places. The Meteorological Department has warned that incidents of lightning (lightning) may also occur in some areas during this period. Therefore, people have been advised to take special precautions during bad weather.
There has been continuous change in the weather in the capital Ranchi for the last few days. There has been a drop in temperature due to sometimes sunshine, sometimes cloud cover and light rain. There is a possibility of increase in rain activities here also from Saturday, due to which people can get more relief from humidity and heat.
According to meteorologists, rainfall activities are increasing in Jharkhand due to moisture coming from the Bay of Bengal and strengthening of the monsoon system. Due to timely rains, initial growth of crops will be better and dependence on irrigation will also be reduced. Farmers in rural areas were waiting for rain and now with the change in weather, agricultural work is likely to accelerate.
However, the Meteorological Department has also advised people to be cautious about possible risks along with rain. The department has said that during thunderstorms and lightning, avoid going near open fields, tall trees and electric poles. Farmers working in the fields during bad weather should move to a safe place and start work only after the weather becomes normal.
The administration has also been informed about possible weather changes so that any emergency can be dealt with in time. District administration and disaster management department have been instructed to keep an eye on sensitive areas and inform people about weather warnings.
The Meteorological Department also says that in case of continuous rain, the problem of waterlogging may arise in some low-lying areas. There is a need to maintain the drainage system in urban areas so that people do not face inconvenience during rains.
According to experts, the activation of monsoon will not only bring a drop in temperature but will also improve the water level of reservoirs, ponds and rivers. This is likely to improve the availability of drinking water and irrigation.
The Meteorological Department has appealed to the people to keep an eye on the official updates related to the weather and not pay attention to any kind of rumours. If a warning is issued for heavy rain, thunderstorm or lightning, follow safety guidelines.
