Kajol celebrates three years of ‘Tribhanga’
Mumbai: As family drama ‘Tribhanga’ completed three years on Monday, actor Kajol took a trip down memory lane to relive scenes from the film. Kajol shared a series of pictures on her Instagram, featuring important moments from ‘Tribhanga’.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “#Tribhanga was an experience in feminism and #women’s club… I loved working with all these women, talking with them about their perspectives and most of all laughing. There are some jokes that only women get.” And we cracked them all!
In the first picture, Kajol can be seen getting makeup done for her dance performance.
In another picture, Kajol is seen posing for the camera in different casual outfits.
There is also a picture of Kajol hugging the film’s director Renuka Shahane.
The last slide shows a photo frame of actors Kajol, Tanvi Azmi and Mithila Palkar.
‘Tribhanga’ marked the first film under the direction of Renuka Shahane.
The film also featured Kunal Roy Kapur and Vaibhav Tatvawadi in important roles.
The film revolves around the complex relationships between three generations of women in a family. It explores themes of motherhood, forgiveness, acceptance, and the unconventional choices made by the characters.
Kajol plays Anuradha Apte, a famous writer, and the story unfolds after her estranged mother Nayanthara (played by Tanvi Azmi) slips into a coma, bringing the three women in the family together.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kajol recently completed the shooting of ‘Do Patti’. The film also stars Kriti Sanon.
‘Do Patti’ is Kriti and Kajol’s second film after ‘Dilwale’. (ANI)
