Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK), film critic and actor, arrested again by Mumbai Police

Mumbai Police has arrested renowned film critic and controversial actor Kamal Rashid Khan (KRK) once again. It is learnt that the police have arrested him on charges of opening fire at a residential building in Andheri area of Mumbai. The authorities, who conducted a thorough investigation into the incident of firing on January 18, initially identified KRK as the perpetrator and took him into custody on Friday night. The incident has created a stir locally as writer Neeraj Kumar Mishra lives on the second floor of the building and model Prateek lives on the fourth floor.
KRK responded to the police interrogation and said that after cleaning his licensed gun, he fired to test whether it was working properly. He seems to have explained that he aimed at the forest in front of his residence, but the bullets accidentally went towards the building next door. Although he claimed that he did not intentionally target anyone, the police seized the licensed gun from him. The Mumbai Police clarified that the investigation into the case is currently ongoing and action will be taken as per the legal provisions.
