Karan Johar apologizes to Alia Bhatt before ‘Tum Kya Miley’ song out
Public Relations Webdesk | The song ‘Tum Kya Mile’ from Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ is going to be released today. Ahead of the release of the song, Karan Johar shared a scene and penned a lovely note for late director Yash Chopra. He has written that he is dedicating this song to Yash Chopra.
Karan wrote with the picture – What you get will be yours in a few hours. I wanted a love song in this film. Which I can dedicate to my Guru Yash Chopra. Then I started telling myself that R will not be able to match or even dare to do so. But the fan boy and the barf ki chadar, the chiffon saree, the stunning location of Kashmir and the love of romance kept me going. Pritam Dada and I wanted to make a song like this for a long time. Vaibhavi Chopra took the entire responsibility of this song on herself and completed the song beautifully like a Yash Chopra lover.
Karan further wrote, “This is Alia’s first shoot after the birth of her baby girl and I apologize for making her shoot in the cold in Manish Malhotra’s chiffon.” Ranveer was nervous as this was his first lip sync mountain love song. But they’re awesome. So we are back to the plains of Ishq Wala Chiffon Sarees. I hope you feel as much love as we have felt in the cold. This is for you Yash uncle…your fan Karan.
