Karan Johar speaks on dealing with ‘Napo Mafia’ tag

The biggest thing is that Karan is often accused of promoting nepotism. Now Karan is in the news a lot about the film ‘Kill’. By casting Raghav Juyal and Lakshya in this film, the tag of nepotism has been removed from Karan. Now after a long time, Karan has broken his silence on this.
Karan Johar is currently enjoying the stupendous success of his last directorial venture ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film has received positive audience response and strong box-office results. Now Karan has come up with an action thriller, which no one expected. Titled ‘Kill’, the film is produced by Dharma Productions and stars Raghav Juyal and Lakshya in lead roles.
Recently, in an interview, Karan was asked that people call you Napo Mafia, but this time you have silenced people by casting Raghav Juyal and Lakshya in the film, will people still call you Napo Mafia? Karan replied, ‘You criticize us for everything. You say that we promote nepotism and nepotism. I want to say that if you criticize us, then give us credit also today.
Karan further said, ‘Lakshya is an outsider. This is a very expensive film, based entirely on him. We have built it. We have invested money on this film. Lakshya had to go through an audition to get this role and he has worked hard for it, so today you cannot accuse us of promoting nepotism.
Let us tell you that Karan Johar returned to the director’s chair after seven years with the film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. The film did quite well at the box office.
