Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrated

The two-day ‘Kargil Vijay Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav’ organised by Headquarter Army Training Command (ARTRAC) to commemorate 25 years of the Kargil victory concluded at the Ridge here today. The events were formally declared open at a solemn ceremony by Lt Gen Devendra Sharma, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Army Training Command.

A variety of attractions for visitors, including stalls displaying Army weapons and equipment, ‘Know Your Army’ exhibition, besides motivation and awareness stalls, were put up at the event. The Military Martial Music mesmerised the audience. Video clips on Kargil Vijay Diwas and poetry by children kept the audience captivated. A free medical camp was also organised.
