Kariya arrested with ganja, caught by Khamtarai police
Raipur: Accused Nizamuddin alias Kariya has been arrested with ganja. According to the information, police station Khamtarai received information from the informer that near Sundari Talab Banjari Nagar Ravanbhatha, a person has ganja in a bag and is looking for a customer to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police City/Crime Abhishek Maheshwari, City Superintendent of Police Urla Avinash Mishra and Deputy Superintendent of Police Crime Dinesh Sinha verified the information and directed the station incharge Khamtrai to catch the accused red handed with ganja.
On which, under the direction of senior officers, the team of Khamtarai police station went to the said place and identified and identified the person of the description described by the informer. During interrogation, the person revealed his name as Nizamuddin alias Kariya, resident of Banjari Nagar Raobhatha. On searching the bag kept with him, it was found that ganja was kept in the bag. On which the accused Nizamuddin alias Kariya father Babu Khan, aged 41 years, was arrested and a total of 05.100 kg of ganja worth about Rs 50,000/- was seized from his possession and a crime number 810/2023 under Section 20B Narcotics Act was registered against the accused in Police Station Khamtarai. Action was taken.
