Raipur. Former minister Kawasi Lakhma has today resigned from the post of Chairman of Chhattisgarh Beverage Corporation. Chhattisgarh Beverage Corporation handles the entire work related to liquor distribution in the state. Let us tell you that the assembly election results were announced in the state on December 3. BJP got majority in this. After this, the then Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel submitted his resignation to the Governor on the same day in the evening.

According to officers, if Lakhma had left the post of Chairman of the Corporation on December 3 or 4, the Excise Secretary would have become the ex-officio Chairman.
